STRA
(Michele Marchetti) is an architect, a visual designer, a remixer and a DJ.
He has been composing and mixing electronic music since 1994. He is regularly invited as a DJ for prestigious events directed by -to name a few- Rem Koolhaas, the Guggenheim Museum and Galleria Continua, Stella McCartney, Vitra and the Biennale di Venezia. He is currently involved with the electronic project Skillaci, who remixed songs for Nico Vascellari and the american artist Dan Deacon. Stra also remixed/reedited artists such as XX, Prinzhorn Dance School, Cornelius, XXYYXX and most recently Colapesce. He wrote the science fiction play "Passeggiata sulla Luna".
Dj resident for Radio Raheem, also played Keyboards for Amor Fou during their Italian tour in 2012 and was on display at the Biennale di Venezia with the soundtrack of the project Nightswimming. In 2015 he co-founded the design studio Display specialized digital and printed identities. He also created the soundtrack for the documentary N-AGUA the same year. Michele likes to experiment by crossing cultural and musical boundaries.
